khaled and i discussed the head mount in his shop. it would provide amazing shots, but remember that it would also lead to more shaky footage as it would be hard to control. also it would add drag and could lead to fatigue on your neck if you are not used to it.. probably your best bet is to get kayaking footage with the hero3 cam so that you could compare to what your results might look like from a head cam
