Hi QuIck ShOT, Yes, you're right!, this is a VERY difficult gun to load, &, not being very fast, it's just not worth the effort.The manual deos not recomend pumping over 20 Bar,(whatever the length) this gun will fail at any thing over 31 Bar, the "Out side" tube will rupture, it's diameter, & wall thickness just can't take the pressure of more than around 31 Bar.People who "Pump" this make of gun to around 28/29 bar, are sitting on a time bomb, if the ambient temperature is hot, this will cause the air inside it to expand, & as it has no where to go, the pressure will increase untill the barrel distort's, or, Explode's!.
Hi slingshaft, No, the slot (along the length of the gun) is it give the gun a "Channel" for the shaft, which will have a peice of metal on the end of it, to enable the Band's to "Hook" onto. Bye for now, .....Geoff.
