Was that me? If you read read my comments I think you'll find that I suggested learning how to aim because of This reason: LASERS DON'T WORK!!!! This is why:
- In less than perfect fiz they don't have the power to be of use.
- In good vis they scare a lot of fish away if they see the green spot moving near them on the reef.
- A laser beam travels in a straight line, your spear shaft travels in a curved line. Your gun is then only accurate at one distance.
So to be fair, my very strongly opinionated comments were an attempt to try to help you by not wasting your money trying or by not fucking up your gun by chopping lumps out of it!

Daryl does chime in but on the subject of attaching a torch onto Sheri Daye's gun. Yes his guns are awesome and I'm still very proud to say mine still has a 100% hit record with no laser.
10 minutes of target practice here and there really does go a long way to building your aim and confidence.
