Yey Yoda, I live in Kent know but i'm over in Essex at least once a week. (basildon) to see my parents.
When i lived in Essex is was hard to even find a pool to train in due to restrictions on the use of mono fins etc.
Good bit of advice is phone around the pools and find out if they have a diving club that uses it and on what night, go down there and speak directly with the diving officer, thats what i did in Kent and i can train in two different pools in the evening and have someone qualified to watch me as well and they dont even charge me!
