KP - I agree with you about the fins off entry - especially in 2-3 feet of surf. Fortunatley, my buddie's daughter is VERY comfortable in the water, and had no problems throughout the weekend. Her buddy (girl, same age) did show some frustration at the beach dive (chest high to a 12 yr old girl is a bit lower than chest high to most adults
). But she did well on the boat - despite an incident with another student, in another class.
