Ihab,

I issue is because there isn't a true industry standard for measuring gun length. Each company does it differently. You are under the impression tht american speargun manufacturers list gun lengths by the total length of the gun from butt to muzzle, and although some american companies do this, it is not the official rule. Some companies list the length of the gun from trigger to where the bands go through the muzzle and still other companies list the length from the last notch or fin on the shaft to the where the bands go through the muzzle (exact band stretch).
