Shore and boat multipliers are worlds apart... very few casting multipliers have enough power or drag for boat fishing and boat multipliers are hopeless for casting.
The only trade off would be a rugged casting multiplier and a fairly big one at that.
You would most probably have to pimp the drag a bit too.
