I've been lurking on this site for a while now and finally signed up! I'm loving all the info, stories, etc...
I have a question (that gets asked a lot - but please hear me out
) about fins. I've used the search forum and the closest I came was

I am trying to decide on the Cressi Gara 3000 (not LD) or the Gara 2000 HF. Where I'm having trouble, is finding info on these fins for someone who weighs 91kg (200 lbs). I am new to long fins but not new to diving. The foot pocket on these fits the best for me. I am a very athletic guy but at 5'10" (178cm) tall, don't posses that super hydro dynamic body.
I'm not going to be doing any fishing in these but I will be using them to better my depth as well as dive reefs, wrecks and anything I can find.
I hate posting stats (as it gives of the cocky attitude
) but given that personal bests + experience sometimes help us choose proper equipment... my best static is 4:50 and my deepest (measured) CWF (using short cheap deals) is 24 meters.
can anyone give me insight to make a better decision? Has anyone my size used both sets?
Sorry for the length on my first post as well as the typical new guy question!
Any help is greatly appreciated.
(PS - don't let the "Brussels" location fool you. I do travel to some warmer spots for work so these won't be pool/north sea only fins)
