I just got back from another trip to Sardegna. 11 days this time at Capo Testa (Santa Teresa di Gallura), rented a house right on the cliffs with Corsica in clear view, awesome. I did not get to fish as much as planned due to an accidental ear injury on the 3rd day of fishing
. That put me out of commision for 4 days. Got lots of nice Sarago up to 1,2 kg and spigole (bass) up to 1,5 kg along with other various types of fish. Saw good numbers of Orate but they were very nervous. The water temp was nice and the thermocline was usually around 25 meters +-. We had a couple days of intense Mistrel winds which put this area off limits due to the high seas and strong currents that rise up due to the channel with Corsica (Bocche di Bonifacio). Saw a few nice Dentex +- 4 kg but they wouldn't come into range

I hope to be back on the island in September and October but till then it's Lazio and Toscana.
