Not sure of the exact defenition, but they are of the soft kind. I also think they burn if you touch them.
I was suprised to see how red they are in that picture, since without the camera's light they are in different shades of green, and it's only about 12m-14m there.
There are a few tiny sea-horses living there by the way, but of the stretched kind, that looks like an oboe.

I actually think that this site's downside is that it needs more nature. There are more fruitful sites in Eilat.
