yeah was kinda wicked, went up the mount titlis met a dude with an extra set of snowboarding equipment, his buddy didnt show, and we freestyled down the mountain, I ended up fracturing a bone in my wrist and dislocating my shoulder, but hell it was fun now i need to go get some aqua therapy.

Yes, ALL vessels used MUST have a bouyancy certificate. I think that the boat must have a 60% bouyancy. What their aim with this is, is quite simple, should the boat capsize, or fill up with water, the boat should still be able to float, en-abling the crew to climb onto the hull or at least have a object to hold onto.

If your vessel has LESS than 60% bouyancy, you then HAVE to carry a life-raft as well as those circular bouyancy rings in addition to your life-jackets. Most bigger boats do not have the required bouyancy and thus carry life-rafts.

Here's a curveball for you, why is most ships made of metal, when metal sinks?? How do these ships actually manage to remain afloat??

Re: Cape Town South Africa

sorry gents my internet was down and my cell is all funny and I seem to have lost everyones numbers again except for henre, but in any event, headed out to millers on Sunday, wind was strong but see was flat and viz was great, A buddy of mine, headed off with his wife and kiddies, and we had a splash, as usual i didnt shave and my mask wasn't liking my beard, but not an issue, cause i shot a nice john brown and two lekka wildeperde, so all in all not a bad day, specially considering i didnt have to swim out more than 250 meters shot all three fish in a space of 5 minutes and then headed back to shore.
