I'm quite a fan of soetwater for kreef cos I always get my quota there, also there are monster hotties if the water is clear enough to see them?
What are you doing on Monday cos my kreefing buddy and me are probally going to go through then.

CTG. Yeah, I realized that my wife is a really bad judge of visability!

CTG, DT & Co, If you go early like you say I think I'll be able to join you, I just need to mission to get back by 12.

Went for a dive today. The weirdest conditions I have ever seen on soetwater side. There where patches that where Crystal clear, and other patches that where peasoup. There was a really big swell plus the added frustration of taking my wife along who gets into a panic attack about open water. We only got into the water at 3:20 cos we spent most of the day trying to find a postoffice with crayfish licenses! So i did'nt stay in the water very long.

So we pop in for about an hour and then go to camps bay for a cocktail or two sometimes six but who's counting. So yeah ill check the weather and maybe we can hook up during the week for a fun dive session and a drink or two. Let me know who is game.

I was under the impression that you can't spear or take anything out from Saunders/Bantry Bay in Sea Point onwards?? (until Kommetjie?).

For sure rbotes - will be diving along this sea point/oudekraal area a lot this summer (or at least when summer officially gets here!).

head past the police station, go around the bay, and your first turn off area on the right hand side, but give me a shout if you cant find the place.

Re: Cape Town South Africa

Iīve got a bit of a crazy plan, I would like to go diving in the mornings before work. And I need someone who lives in the closeish to melkbos area and is crazy enough about diving to wake up that early to go for a dive. It will probably mean getting up at 6am, but just think how cool it would be. We can just go on days when we know the water will be nice (since most of those days are in the week anyway), Also early mornings are the best time to dive because thatīs when the wind is usually at weakest and the sea at its calmest. It beats the hell out of going to gym, weĺl get lots of diving experience and early morning is when the fish come into the reefs to feed. and strangely I find i catch kreef more easily in the morning as well. I was even thinking that we could dive for kreef, we go in whenever and we just make sure we donīt leave the water until 8:15.

So any takers?
