Hello Fellow Spearo's Freedivers,
I will be in Okinawa from May 2 -May 6 does anyone have any information, rules and regulations about diving/spearfishing in Okinawa? Thanks Sean

do a search on this site. I know I there are atleast a couple of guys who dive in okinawa. let us how it goes, I might go up there next year and hopefully will be able to do some diving and fishing.
Dive safe and watch out for the sea snakes

I don't have any current information, but I lived there for a year in 1978/79 before I retired from the Marine Corps, and the diving was wonderful with clear warm water. Unfortunately, I can't help much with how to get hooked up in a 4-day stay.

As far as us speros in Oki know as long as you as you are not on scuba it is leagal to fish. I am not the best in the world but I might be able to help u out with some good spots. My cell # is 0903-011-4267 and my name is Chad Give me a call this is open to any body that visits.
