Well, driving is a lot of fun at the moment. The fog has made it zero visibility all around the San Joaquin Valley.

I'd rather be there than here right now Batray.

Bloody freezing, being forced to work like a dog, no possibility of getting wet until January and getting a cold. Fog sounds good to me right now.

Sorry about that, it's 9.30 am in the UK and I can't get the man off my case!

Unconditionally

No time - will come back on that one

I can't go diving until January either - no $$$.

Last year we had a 100+ car collision during a very foggy day. It's not so much the fog, it's all the idiots out there driving suicidally.

counterproductive

CIA orders uninformed nations to engage revolutionary practices requiring other democratic uncooperative countries to incentivate violent engagements.

I think you'll need the CIA to unravel this one!

Been more or less AWOL lately due to work pressures... Sorry gang

This one has to do with work. Thank goodness I had NOTHING to do with it!

Repercussions

Hi Bret,

Repercussions

Rabid exclamations pervaded European researchers cringing under stressful situations in organizing new satellites.

I saw the explosion on TV yesterday - all I can say is to keep on going and to remember that mistakes sometimes have a special ability to make things happen much better next time. Morale must be pretty low though and tempers very hot.

You are NOT kidding! The Operations Center had nothing to do with the last launch and everything was being done from Kourou (the launch pad) but we DO have a lot to do with the January launch of the Rosetta scientific mission (we deal with the satellites themselves rather than the rockets) and that has a LOT of people worried. We have a VERY small launch window or we can forget the mission... Of course, if it blows up, e can still forget it....

Preach it, Sharky!

I feel your pain. I haven't been diving for over a month, and I feel like I'm going to shrivel up. There's no end to it in sight, either. Until I get money. This habit is so expensive...

BaqtRay,

Try living in a country where the only diving they do is quarry diving where the vis is about -1 (i. e. you can't see your finger in front of your face until you stick it in your eye!) We were hoping to go to the Red Sea in the spring but the bosses back problems (2 slipped disks) are gonna put the big kabosh on that plan. So, let's see, in order to get the New Year off to a good start....

Idiosyncratic

If Diving Is Obviously Sexy, You Never Can Really Accept Totally Inhibited Crowds!
