I wish to note for the record that my turds don't stink and so i am either excrutiatingly holy or i must not be a man. For these reasons i am avoiding relationships until i decide whether to bottle my specimens as fine abbey ale or join the castrati choir - maybe both.

Isn't it amazing how our emotions can fool us? Sometimes it pays to take a step back and try to attain an objective view of the situation. Take emotion out of it and you have a whole new experience. Of course with strong emotions like love and the intense neural activity it causes these emotions can be quite persistent. With time I think you will see it all in such a different way that you will wonder why you were upset by it at all.

Batray - It does come and go - for a while (as you well know). I am sure that you have had more than enough advice, but here is one more (very unnecessary) : Take extra good care of yourself: mourn as you need to, but take really good care of yourself. Hike (O' Queen of the forest), dive, enjoy life! BTW, aren't you up by the "Lost Coast"? I stayed a few days at a spot called "Big Flat" up there. I doubt there are too many spots as beautiful...

Opining for free earns regard if not griping.

I appreciate the advice I am taking as good a care of myself as I can, which at the moment is kind of difficult. I am in the middle of moving out of my parents' house into my own little flat, which is very close to the college. Even so, I am wracked with doubt as to whether I can make rent. I did a bit of work this evening, which helped to alleviate the stress. It might sound crazy, but I miss my ex very much in times like these, because he was fairly well-grounded and willing to listen and just hold me. I could totally relax and unwind around him. God I miss that. What a waste.

I am actually in the Central Valley, a little ways southeast of Fresno. That in itself is not interesting, but I am less than an hour from the beautiful mountains, and two and a half hours from nice Monterey diving. It's an ok location, and would be better if not for the pollution.
