Unhappy HEEELLLLLLoooooooooooo

Anybody out there? Our thread is getting pushed closer and closer to the bottom of the stack

Come on! Someone should be able to come up with something "horsey" as a reply (Get it? Horsey? As in
Equestrians - pun intended)!

How about something "sea-horsey" as we are all subequestrians...he he...

Yeah, I also thought there has been a long time with no acronyms. So here goes:

Well, you know what happens when you ask too many questions, right?

Quintessentially Unanimous, Exploring Satellites Trying Ions Obtain New Speeds!

We have a launch in about 34 hours from Kourou. We are sending up SMART-1, the first European moon mission. What makes this one really cool is (now you will see the tie-in to my acronym) that the main propulsion system for the satellite itself, once it is separated from the booster is a solar-electro system. Basically, in plain-speak, it is an Ion drive that takes electricity made from sunlight, applies the electrical field to a chamber that is filled with xenon gas, the xenon then starts to ionize (that is gain an electron) and the ions, since they are negatively charged as opposed to the rest of the xenon, are pushed out the end of the chamber, thereby providing thrust. The amount of thrust is about the same (in Newtons) as the force of a single sheet of A4 or letter size paper on your hand but in a weightless environment and under constant thrust, much higher terminal speeds can be generated over time as opposed to the older hazeline engines.....

Truly Star Trek - Ion Drives......

Turtles are much cooler in the ocean..... Don't worry, I know you didn't mean it like that. I have just gotten done reading an article about how they are still killing sea turtles in the Polynesian Islands (Bali, etc.) for restaurants

Sorry Sharky but I haven't seen the mail. Did you PM me with it or send it to my e-mail address. If the latter, it could have been shot down by my SPAM filters.....

Jeez, BatRay and I thought MY word was a doozy! OK, here we go

Hey SLACKERS! Come on! Lets get a move on here..... At least it wasn't "loquotiously!" Still, the remaining zoological specimens could be interesting, especially when

Zebras Ostentatiously Obscure Leaning Or Gyrating Idiosynchratic Carnivorous Adult Lions.....

but only in Las Vegas OK OK OK bad joke maybe but THAT was a tiger, not a lion...

I read that about the tiger. What do you say?

Carnivorous:

Capering and running never involves venerable octogenarians rolling on unusual sandpaper.

I guess it could have been worse. What if it had been Mary Carey that got elected? That would have been a ridiculous situation for CA!
