Hey guys, I just got my tonsils out today! I'll be all right pretty soon. Funny enough, I already feel better than before the procedure. I won't be doing much diving in the next few weeks, though. A shame, since the river is low enough to be fairly safe and warm.

To answer your question, Adrian, El Nino (how do you do the accent marking on the computer?) will not much affect my diving. I mostly dive in the river, which doesn't have much to do with weather systems. If I go to the ocean, I'll be all right since my suit is so thick and warm. Anyone know if colder water affects visibility, namely plankton bloom?

I can't get the acronym this time, guys. It has exceeded my imagination.

Well done Mishu! I am impressed!

BatRay, why did your tonsils need to come out so late in life? Did they do the adnoids(sp?) too while they were digging around? Hope you feel better soon!

Colder water would (I believe) inhibit the plankton bloom and so would increase vis. However, it also tends to change the type and numbers of fish seen from the little colorful ones more towards pelegics (from what I remember reading).

Anyway, for all that El Nino is supposed to do, it looks to be a relatively mild one this time around.

If my grammar teacher read that last sentence, she would string me up by my toes but....

Generating Repeated Acronyms Makes Modesty A Rarity!

Just look at some of the previous ones if you don't believe me!

More obviously, dressing especially scandalously treats yeomen.

Well Bret, I've had recurrent and frequent ear/sinus infections over the past couple of years, sore throats, the whole works. My doctor agreed that it might help, so out they went! Not the adenoids though, they shrink by my age.

I should be doing well within a week or so. It's actually not so bad, sitting around and sleeping and eating jello. Well, take care all.

You'd be talking to the wrong person about that mishu... I'm a complete teetotaler. I'm consuming plain, ordinary old jello with nothing special except berry flavoring. I've been averting solid foods...

Luis-Oscar is an interesting name combination... Kinda like someone named Jose O'Brien.

Not eating undermines trachaic rhyming allowing lissom, intelligent zebras interesting new grunts.

Brett,
My SAWF (Secret Acronymic Work Force) has determined that due to the time you're taking for your thesis there is going to be a world shortage of acronyms in the near future, driving up international prices, generating worldwide panic and serious verbal shortages. Please, please get your thesis done, the world depends on it!

Batray, now I bet you wish you were a batray, without having had any tonsils in the first place!

Adrian
