I'm sure Bret caused that crash subconsiously in order to get some rest! Now I better go jump in a lake before he nonchalantly throws something at me!

Geez, you'd think sands or Sinky would have taken up the bait....

You'd think so, wouldn't you? ha ha ha ha
I've been rather uncreative at the whole acronym sport, sadly. But I'll give it a go. Nice yurt usage, by the way. So in honor of that last remark... Although portable protection offers idleness, nymphs thrill endlessly, Durret.

![]() Yet another "y" word....... Nonetheless, Yonder My Pumping Heart Squirts ![]() A little gruesome but what the heck..... Hey BatRay, I am back in a class that gives me a deadline to have my Thesis finished, accepted, and published... I have 8 weeks and the clock started yesterday so if you all don't see a lot of me, you will know that I am somewhere off in Computer Land slaving away..... Bret

Academic redundance! It is a very true but not commonly known phenomenon. I must have taken the same class five times in college, but it had different names and different instructors each time. It was awful. Still recovering.
My amazingly talented right index can undulate low and thoroughly, even shake!. |

Studying again Bret? Sigh...I bet you were hoping to be able to yurt all over the place this summer! Congrats to the NASA folks, I hope they get a good shot of the crater they made after the dust clears, or was that not possible as the "mother ship" probably flew by really fast?
SHAKE: Studying has always killed elegance. |

Did you guys read about the astrologer who's suing NASA? That's not a joke by the way.
Northern expeditions usually run over raccoons except pending the interesting viand experience. |

You gave me JUST the opportunity I needed to go on a rant about that! ![]() Russian Astrologers Cannot Comprehend Orbits Or Needful Science This is her 2nd lawsuit. ![]() She first tried for an injunction to stop the mission from whacking the comet in the first place. That suit was tossed out of the Russian courts for simply being too stupid to believe ![]() Now she is suing because, as she said, the "orbit of the comet has been altered." How in the he|| does SHE know that already?!?!? ![]() IF the orbit has been altered, it is on the order of 10's of miles over a distance of 123 million miles, give or take a few hundred thousand. The actual orbit of the comet is estimated to be somewhere in the area of 8-9 AU's (Astronomical Units - 1 AU is the distance from the earth to the Sun) from apohelion (closest apprroach to the sun) to perihelion (farthest point away from the sun) and the orbital period is (IIRC) about 5-6 earth years. The first chance that anyone will get to recompute the orbit will be AFTER apohelion when the comet is on its way back out of the elliptical plane (the comet orbits at an angle to the solar system, much like Pluto - all the rest of the planets orbit is a relatively even plane across the solar system - Pluto's orbit is inclined by 10 degrees and (again, IIRC) the comets orbit is at 22 degrees inclination). In addition, this is a relatively small comet, being only the size of (about) Washington, D. C. in square footage..... I mean, why didn't she sue for the Lunar Landings then? Or the Mars missions? ![]()
