Hi
Most of my fishing takes place from the surface & I prefer to wear a silver suit. My question is where can I buy a plain silver one piece 5mm suit with front zip?

Italian brand Effesub makes a fine silver suit, but it's not one piece and has no zipper. This is even better in my opinion: a one piece 5mm is difficult to wear and take off, and zippers are a way-in for water, plus they don't compress at depth (sorry for my poor english)

Thanks for info but very often I have to walk a long way to the water. It can be hot in the summer (not the sea though) & the tide can drop half a mile or more. I like to tie the arms around my waist & pull on the top when I reach the sea. To catch our main quarry 'bass" I don't have to dive at all!

I understand mate. By the way, I'm using a Mares suit WITH zips for winter: the technical concept sould be "no zip" for apnea, but zips are very practical when too hot or too cold. Try, if there's any neoprene craftsmen in your town, to order a custom made suit: your request is very specific.

You need to send an email to Stefano at : info@eliossub.com Just tell him what you want and if you are planning on diving int he summer maybe just get the cheapest Heiwa neoprene. Not sure if you want a lining onthe inside or just raw neoprene .. anyway if you want to check out a bag of samples that Elios sent me let me know (Dave knows where I live - it's the 'building site' near L'Islet (now with plans approved... some clebrations on Saturday I fear  )) - will be around on Sunday more than Saturday (in one form or another )....Ed
