Lucia.. dont forget that you are also nearer to the S.E.T.T at Gosport for some warm water freediving, would be nice if they stocked with some fishies to shoot at also but one cant have everything.
Moving to Hampshire is the best move anyone can make, enjoy it.. Peter.

On the subject of huge carp...
http://www.cadskoi.co.uk/NewFiles/japan_2.html That's a huge fish, if the mouth is anything to go by. I just noticed that it says 165cm and 50kg!

Lucia there is stacks of great snorkelling/freediving off Dorset. I popped in last summer near Lulworth and just randomnly picked up a lobster - walking around on the sand in about 5m. luckily for him I was a long way from the beach with no goody bag or barbie on the go so I set him free after showing off to my buddy!
It is GORGEOUS down there, a world away from London and hairy scary pools.... best of luck Sam

Sounds like a good move Lucia. Hampshire has some beautiful countryside - the air should be better for you (although most of the UK has high tree pollen this week - seems like Spring just suddenly arrived
). I don't know about fish but I often see deer in the fields there.Sounds like you'll be fairly close to the coast, with Hampshire, Dorset, W. Sussex & E. Devon all not too far away. All the best

I think you should move to Northern British Columbia Lucia. Even the name would make you feel somehat at home!
the air is clean, there are lots of fish to play with.... mountains...... Did I mention I need a dive buddy?
