Me too, I guess. But I tried discussing spearfishing in the western US the other day, and the only replies came from Brits and one Hawaiian. Do you think I'll be fired?

That would be that they are invisible to anyone who doesn't have moderator status, a bit like the red dot that appears next to my user name

The plus sign tells You that the user is in Your buddy list. That one was there before.
