Thanks everyone for the kind words! The big white wedding in September is now a shotgun wedding in March, registry office not church, 20 instead of 120. The Mother-in-law wants to cut off my you-know-what as it has ruined her big day too
She can't wear that bloody big hat now!!!

Congrats Spaniard and other half. You may not be able to catch a bass Juan but you seem to be able to shoot straight
 .If it's a boy maybe you could name him "Rocky" after the famous Guernsey beverage .Think this may be cause for a few extra rounds, so I'll put one behind the bar for you. Thats Foxy's bar at the bottom of the garden. Seriously hope to see you but maybe you'll be a bit too busy around that time. We'll keep the offer open and maybe put a soft drink and a bottle of milk there too. Then you have an excuse for making it a family affair. My hearty good wishes to you both. Juan mate well done on the good news, there’s not much I can add to all the good karma that’s out there for you and your good lady but I think you know that my best wishes are being sent.
As for the fatherly advice well mate you just got to make it up as you go along. PM me a postal address mate and no excuse’s.  Well it seems to me that its not true what they all say about you mate and you must have had at least one good one in you after all. CONGRATULATIONS my boy and I’ll give you a ring when we’re both drunk and have a chat about whatever you like. Very Very Best Paul

, congrats mate.Dont worry about mother in law shell do anything once her grandchild is born so youve got babysitting sorted out. Your wife to be will be very tired over this time, be as supportive as possible and go diving as often as she allows it, I say she allows it cause if she doesnt you wont be supportive enough in her book, do what she wants first and then what you want . When times get tough hang in there theyll get better again.Try to get the nursery done as soon as possible the wife stresses and freaks out if you wait till the last minute, trust me on this one. Enjoy this time and perhaps take out a rental contract at your local video store, youll be watching lots and lots of dvds in the few months to come... Good luck and enjoy this time it doesnt really last that long
