Cool Finally done

So some of you mite know some of you mite find out now...

Yes my missus is expecting our first, ITS A BOY, any time now and seein that theres been nursery posts here before I decided Id share our creation too. So with quite a bit of work and alot of swearing and struggling this is what weve done.
Did all the mobiles ourselves and the bay window cupboard (this is where the swearing came in ) just needs handles now. The cot we had made and the wallpaper we installed late one night .
All it needs now is a 'little bundle of joy', so without any further dealy...

Started painting a mural, took forever...

Start of the bay window cupboard, lots of swearing in here allready

Opted for the wallpaper option instead...

Good job! That looks like great work, and the theme little one will feel right at home when you start teaching him to dive. How long until the blessed event?

Re: Finally done

Like I said I have first hand experience thats why the advice was given
Seeing that everybody really seems to like the cot. It was made by a guy called Jay. His home run company is called dream weaver and they were based in Scarborough. I dont know where they are now as their house was one of those that burned down during one of the recent fires in the Cape Point area. He also makes similar chairs and swings and they also make jungle gyms using the existing structures in your garden... Waayy cool

Re: Finally done

Congratulations Mate, and nice one with the nippers room.
The whole job looks like it took a bit of swearing to get it done and as everybody has said the cot looks great.
So have you thought of any names for the youngun yet??
My very best to your Mrs. and of course to you.

Re: Finally done

Good stuff, my boy is coming up 8 and is starting to find his feet.

I can remember walking around Tesco (supermarket) with the pair of them a couple of years back when they were both trying to slide on the floor. The place was packed and I jokingly said that if they didn’t start to behave themselves that I would fill their mouths with spiders.
Well they both thought that was super funny but the old girl coming the other way up the isle didn’t see the funny side of it at all and gave me a right ear full.
Least to say that the kids couldn’t wait to get home to tell there mother that I’d been told off in the supermarket.
Little buggers the pair of them!
