Well it is nothing new for me to get nasty splinters but that mother was coated in fiberglass resin so my body couldn't break it down. As the wound had become infected the doctor couldn't cut it out so I had to take antibiotics, at one time my whole hand was like a football. Anyhow yesterday I was giving it the hourly squeeze to get rid of more dead cells when out it came.

great to see you got it out!
would have loved a crack at operating ( trying to get it out) on that myself, when it got lodged there first. i'm surprised they left it in there in fact.
