Not too well up on Billy but we had a debate about Chuck before.

Re: Who remembers the original Chuck N?

Billy Jack was the first martial artist I ever saw as a kid, in "Born Losers", then "Billy Jack".

Re: Who remembers the original Chuck N?

I have to say I am somewhat dissapointed that this is the first I have ever heard of Billy Jack! He is BAD A$$! I think his action scenes are better than jacky chans! It looks like hes actually kicking those guys in the face!

Billy jack doesnt shoot his speargun when he dives... fish impale themselves on the end of his gun.

Oh, that was bad!

Re: Who remembers the original Chuck N?

He was trained in Hapkido for those movies. That was one of the reasons I was drawn to Tae Kwon Do (similar Korean style).
Born Losers was soooo great when I was a kid- so over-the-top with the bad bikers hahaha! I'm going to have to go and find it at the video store- it's been years since I saw it.

Re: Who remembers the original Chuck N?

Some trivia: at that time, Chuck Norris was kicking ass in full contact kickboxing all over America, using Tang Soo Do techniques like a jump-spinning back kick that was unseen in the west for the most part. TSDo was also one of the Korean arts....
