Dear comrades. I would like to congratulate you all on occasion of my birthday.
I turned 38 on June 14 - which was the second of the three-day spearo get-together on the Seliger lake in Russia. We started drinking at midnight because June 15 was the competition day and I went to bed (that is to a sleeping bag in an open tent) at about 1.00 while my buddy kept drinking and missed the competition ))). I must say it is much more fun to celebrate one's birthday like that rather than sit in a bar and get loaded with food and drinks until I either burst or fall to the floor.
