it starts tomorrow, wishing all members and their families all the best

its usually a time to spend with the family, but unfortunately i wont be in cairo for the first 12 days of ramadan im off in the early morning on a 32 hour journey to Curitiba Brazil to attend a business event, i always skipped work the first day of Ramadan and thats only 30 minutes away...the years must be catching on to me

Ramadan is easier this year. We have all been given Ramadan working hours (08h00 - 14h00) whether we are fasting or not.

Our office has trebled in size since last Ramadan and yesterday there was a "clandestine office of eaters behind closed doors". I find it easier to wait until home time and then do my thing at home. I tried fasting last year and it was really difficult! Our tea boy is pleased as he has nothing to do at work ;-)

What is amazing is the luxurious displays of Iftars offered in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While one should not stuff themselves at Iftar and take it easy, the hotels take the opportunity to make money during this occasion by providing sumptous tempting buffets...

I'm a little late from the start of the thread, but I never really knew what it was. So I figured I should know what it was before posting (gave me a reason to look it up). I'm just lazy and it took me a few days to google it and see what it was.

I must say, I would be in trouble, I would have to drag myself out of bed early to eat and then crawl around shaking all day waiting for food
