I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for sharing so much useful information on this forum. My reading countless posts and pool practice, really paid off. I just returned from Maui where I had a chance to dive almost everyday. My pb of the trip was somewhere around 50ft at a spot called Black Rock in Kaanapali, I did this comfortably. I also managed to put some food on the table with my pole spear at about 30ft, nailing a nice weke. Another highlight was snorkeling at Honalua Bay, where I was able to stay down long enough to really check everything out and take some cool pics of fish.
Thanks again, I look forward to going deeper and staying down longer.
