So I just bought a weight belt, and for the life of me can't figure out how to put it together. It's one of those cheap wire 2-piece buckles:

Glad you managed to figure it out, I haven't seen a weight belt of that design before. Most of them are the quick release buckle or Marseillaise types.

I just changed my weight belts to a Trident model http://www.tridentdive.com/Export304.htm that does not use a flipper type release. The catch is more of a hook. It is more resistant to accidental ditching. I did this once, very embarrassing!!
Only down side is its a little harder to tighten up. I like it though. Check it out. Kevin |

so i realize this is an old thread... sorta... but i just got one of these belts and it seems like one of those metal wire puzzles that i can never figure out... any help/pictures on setting one up would be really appreciated
