log books - training records ??

Okay, my AIDA** course is booked for 10 days time and i got to thinking is there any log books provided on the course or available for general purchase??

I'm one of these ppl who likes to have log books and even after 500 scuba dives still logs them - although the narratives are brief, unless its something particularly special its nice to have them wrote down.

I've trawled through the aida website and will email my course provider, but just wondered if there were any and how other freedivers keep track of their progress...

Many Thanks
Jo

The BFA site sell log books.

Just contact one of the committee members and ask for details, i don't think the link to buy them is up yet?

Good luck on your 3*, hope it goes well for you

Thanks,
I noticed log books were given to members but theres nothing on the pages to say you can buy seperately.
Also no point in buying a log book if one comes with the AIDA paperwork / course materials... which no-one so far is able to comment on.

Re: log books - training records ??

I'm not aware of another log book specifically being made for freedivers but there may be. Ask your instructor if one is included. The BFA will sell log books seperatly if you ask and if you join the BFA they are free ( i think membership is about £20 for the first year including insurance ). If you are logging every session you will get through a log book in no time anyway so get both.

I hope you are going somewhere warm, your further North than me and we were snowed in yesterday!!

See ya

Thanks for the info - will email commitee for a book then.

Yep, off to dahab for a few days - had a foot of snow up here over the past 2 days so 22degrees will seem toasty warm.
