Hammerhead Evolution

Which size would be better for diving in and around the oil rigs: Evolution 90 or 100. 90 has a 52" spear and 100 has a 56" spear. Im going to be shooting cobia, jacks, snapper, grouper, and mackrel. How are the Hammerhead Evolutions.

Re: Hammerhead Evolution

I'd go big- I have the 75cm Evolution- It's amazing! I'm assuming you have good viz there around the rigs- so, the bigger the better- At least that's what they say.

Re: Hammerhead Evolution

Cobia,

The Hammerhead evo is a dead nut accurate gun for sure. I have swapped out all my RAs and Rabitechs with the REEF muzzle I was so impressed.

The last time I spoke with the crew at Hammerhead they were not sure when they were going to be coming out with a bigger shaft though. There guns come with the 17/64 shaft which is a bit thin for Yellowtail and larger WSB.

I have not yet been lucky enough to get to waters with Cobia but have seen them put up quite a fight on movies.

good luck

Joel
