Mongrel, you may want to look into the OMER Runner fins. Before I upgraded I had a long chat with the OMER agent and he told me the only difference is the colour (and the price) of the fins. They have the same softness. Well, I didn't want to spend 65$ more just for camo sake so I went with them and they're great. They were about 250 NZ$ so I guess you may have looked in the wrong stores.... Check out some NZ shops, they might be able to help you out.

On subprof.com the Ice Fins are currently US$176.96 plus US$65.87 for shipping to Oz, it sucks how these are $499 in shops here just like every other hugely overpriced piece of diving equipment! In regard to the Omer Millenium Runners they are meant to be stiffer than the Ice but same design though, plus they don't look anywhere near as cool as the Ice.


P.S I'm saving up for either a 100cm Mares Sten, or 110cm Cyrano and looking at installing a Mamba kit, do you think as the Sten has a 13mm inner cane diameter compared to the cyrano's 11mm it would be better for "mambatising"?
