I did some looking today on knots, like the double and triple surgeon. I stumbled on the blood knot loop. I like the size of it. I think I may re-shoot the wishbone video.
An interesting note on Dyneema. I was watching "Future Weapons" (I love that show) and they were talking about making armor for a Zodiac. Steel is to heavy of course. They said Dyneema is the strongest synthetic fiber. I did not know this. They made plates out of the stuff. They shot a 1/4" steel plate with a 7.62x39 round and it penetrated. They shot the Dyneema plate and it just deformed it, did not penatrate and it broke up the round. So I guess if I'm getting shot at I can stop the bullets with this cord! (kidding of course)

another good trick to getting wish bones or beeds in the hose is to dip the end of the rubber in hot water for a couple min. help the rubber to strech better and when it cools no harm is done to the bands.... and using spray helps even more, I've even used pam cooking spray but if u want to use some other kind of cooking spray should spray some old bands and make sure they don't eat away at the rubber!!!!!

I've been a bit lazy in updating the current videos I wish to update. I plan to make a few new ones as well. I got a PM through YouTube asking about some other videos. The weather is cooling here and I hope to have more free time as night is coming much earlier now.

You are a star IL!! I adapted some of the methods you demonstrated on the shock bungee video to homebuild a half decent floatline. All that was missing was a handy how-to on getting the nylon line through yard after yard of surgical tubing! Still, managed it (just). Thanks buddy.

I managed to suck it in a few yards then (fearing a punctured lung if I struggled on) used the inherent stretch in the tubing to pull the end of the line further down the tube whilst making sure the line was stretched fully out behind the end furthest in. Hard on the hands but with my girlfriend's help we managed to do ten meters in about half an hour. I just used bog standard blue tubing from an aquarium. Then sealed the ends with swivels and constrictor knots as per your video. Works a treat.

You may want to seal the end with silicone or something so that water does not get in. If it floods it won't float.

LOL I'm not real comfortable talking to myself on camera. I thought I'm play around a little with that one.
