Place: Small reef just past KoelBay. Parking just after the bridge after Keolbay entrance going to Bettys Bay from Gordonsbay.

Time of dive: +/- 2 hours, 10:00 to 12:00.

State of tide: Rising.

Weather: Fresh to Stong SE winds during the week with a turn to NW on the Thursday before the dive, strong NW winds one the day and overcast.

Water conditions: Choppy water with a bit of a swell running. Visibility was between 2 to 5 or 6m. Water temps was very nice

Quarry: Lots of shelfish but you have to look for them. Saw but lost a octopus. No fish, possibly due to stormy weather as well as a pod of dolphins in the bays entrance

General notes: A nice place to dive with interesting rock formations and lots of sandy gulleys coming into them. Ground ranges from sand to solid reef to hunting ground in the breakers in shallow water. Saw dolphins from the side and a seal in the water spotted by dive buddy. Lots of life to see in the water but no fish seen which worries me a bit. Could have been the weather or the dolphins that chased them into deep hiding but all caves were empty. More interesting waters than the last dive so Ill definately recomend this area if you wana go for a quick dip. Currents arent too stong and water is nice and warm.

Vote: Good place to get wet, not so good for spearing on the day but Ill try again
