Medication and dry land.

Posted October 16th, 2007 at 06:32 by fogish
So my seizure medication is slowly working, but sadly I haven't been in the water for quite some time. I really really want to go ice diving but until my marriage situation gets figured out and I take the partnership offer from my brother I won't be able to afford a trip to Michigan or Wisconsin.

I started working out again and that combined with my apnea training should get me longer dynamics. I hate being out of shape, I used to run a minimum of 5 miles a day 5 days a week along with 45 min. of military PT, I could do almost anything and I always had energy at the end of the day. I am hoping I can get back to that state in the next 6 months.

On another note I think I finally have all of the gear needed to take a friend out diving with me, which will get me out in the water more. I also have the gear needed to go spearfishing, so that will be something new to try, but I am probably going to be too distracted just looking around at everything to actually shoot at a fish. I am still obsessed about and still overawed by being underwater, nothing else makes me feel like I am 8 years old again, I forget all of my worries and can't stop smiling.

I can't wait to be back in the water, it is the best medication.
