I had to have a dive buddy, which is great since this would be my first time in the pacific ocean. My dive buddy was Aloha Gannon. Aloha had an equipment issue and told me to follow Kimi and Garrett out and he would meet up with me. Sounded easy enough, except I had never cut through breakers before. I'd been aching to get out of town for awhile. Sunday March 1st I spent the day reading about Sean "Stody" Stodelle and his trials he has gone through over the last few months. I recently recieved a reply from you about spearfishing in Illinois. You referenced Parts 110 and 810 of the Administrative Rules. I don't have access to these and I can not find them online. So I will have to use my own common sence in replying to what I have in this letter.

Illinois - Land of Hostages....

I'm going to start writing an article to be published by whomever will print it. I have a few places in mind to send it to start with. This is a rough draft and a place to gather thoughts for this article.

It seems Illinois is intent on protecting people from themselves. There is less and less freedom in the US in general, but Illinois seems to want to lead this charge.

I decided to see what can be done to change the view of diving and spearfishing in Illinois....
