Trying to use my Glide Fin....

I spent an hour in the pool doing the length of the pool no fins and with my monofin. It confused me greatly. I started by playing with my mono. I could not make the full length, which I expected. I had not warmed up really, I just jumped in took a big breath and went for it. 2/3 of the length I got the urge to breath really bad and it came on quick and hard so I came up. Each length of the pool I focused on slowing down. Breathing between lengths, no hyperventilating. At the 15min mark...

Winter is coming on....

Winter is coming and I am getting lazy. I think it may be my diet. I get home from work and I feel exhausted. I need to push through and go for a run. I only have 2 days per week to get to a pool and one of those evenings I have my scuba instructor course.

I have to find the drive to go and do the running. I have to find the determination to do the static tables. I'm working on getting a few locals to get into freediving so I can have a safety and start pushing myself in the...

It's like yoga on water. Wow! An exciting new sport called stand up Paddle Boarding has emerged as THE sport for celebrities and everyday fitness enthusiasts alike. It’s fun and as a bonus, it's a great fitness program. An awesome day to dive...

But I didn't. I drove 3.5 hours north to go to a cookout and dive. We all carried out gear down to the pavillion. We started talking and did not stop until it was time to go.

The weather was great, the people were also great. I can't wait to dive with the new faces that have recently appeared in our little midwest group.

An Okay Diving Day...
