Well I didn't get eaten by a shark or anything but it wasn't a good diving day either with one little thing after another. My gag reflex was front-and-center this morning, which is not conducive to using a snorkel. I imagine it was being overzealous because I had a migraine Wednesday and was stuck in bed all day. Another cold water dive

First the day started off scary and got worse. My daughter is driving and need to get so many hours in order to get her driers license. So she is driving me 3.5 hours north to WI. That is scary enough. About an hour north a 12 point buck trots across the road. She did good she got slowed down and did not hit the deer. I got lured up to WI by the promise of wish. Jon sent out a PM and I was certain it would be a good day for getting fish in the freezer. I climbed into bead and looked at the clock, the alarm was set. My wife wakes me and points to the clock at 5:45....I was going to leave the house at 5:00. She set the alarm to get my daughter up, not me! Gahhhh.... I scramble and PM unirdna to let him know I'm a little late. My intent was to get to unirdna's about 8:30 - 9:00, but I got there at 9:30.

Awesome Day Spring Diving

Yesterday all I could think about was going diving today. I had my truck all packed before I went to work. I have been being very careful about what I eat lately because I would like to become "less buoyant" so I normally avoid refined carbohydrate products like pasta and bread. However, I decided it would be prudent to have some udon noodles for dinner so I could, hopefully, have energy for diving without really eating anything in the morning, other than a protein shake. Lake Geneva Oct 25th

Went up to Lake Geneva on Sat the 25th. Went diving with Wreckrunner, Kalinux and Whopperhead. Not a bad day of diving, but horrible day of spearfishing! I saw plenty of big largemouth and smallmouth bass. A ton of juvenile fish too. But nothing in the variety I am allowed to shoot. The water was 58 degrees and the wind was whipping pretty good. I'm guessing the pan fish and such were in more protected areas, but we never got to those areas.

Wreckrunner and I hit some deeper...
