last minute dive buddy score
Time crawled by the last few days and my anxiety grew as I waited for a phone call from someone willing to take a vistor out for a hunt. I had contacted several dive shopes asking if they could hook me up with a partner. It was not till 36 hours befor my plane trip I finally got a call from Dale via Chuck from depth perceptions. I would really appreciate all he did as a matter of fact he is the only one who actually gave me that warm fuzzy feeling over the phone. The other dive shops just seemed to be humoring me.
I will need to pick up some additional equipment as my 5 mil suit is not going to be sufficient for the 42 degree water. NOAA had temps for this time of year running about ten degrees warmer. We will be diving around but not in Jade Cove area. The only dive worth diving appears to be Sunday as 6 foot swells expected on Saturday. I wonder if Morro Bay would make a Saturday dive possible as it is well protected.
