Small float source

I just had another PM asking me where I got the small float shown in the photo below, so I thought I might mention it publicly.

Netco, LLC - Custom Nets, Sports Nets, Fishing Nets, Batting Cages and everything in-between!

It was a few years ago, but I called them and was amazed that they were willing to ship one float each of two or three types that I wanted to try. The one shown is half of a longer white one, spray painted. The other half is on a Neptonics line that I recently bought.

I know Neptonics kelp carrots are pretty, but they are also expensive, and people have told me that they do hang up in the kelp a bit. If you don't need one to meet the float requirement on the Peace, these little things really do slide through the kelp so easily that you seldom notice that they are there, but still give you something to grab when all the line is pulled through your hand.

Of course if you live near a store that caters to netters or commercial fishermen, you maybe be able to find something locally. There is no store like that near me.

PS- I guess this could have gone in "All other gear" but I don't think anyone but California kelp divers is interested in skinny little floats. We can't use large floats because there is no way we can pull them down under kelp and come up on the other side.
