Re: BC Spearing Trip: Round Two!

Lee ask and see if there are any spots where the codfish come shallow. They are legal for us to spear but they do come shallow sometimes as Amphibious has experienced. You guys should have an amazing trip. AGAIN!

Re: BC Spearing Trip: Round Two!

OK we're confirmed, there will be the three of us (me, wife, and son). We could meet somewhere along the way if you want to caravan on the way out...

Lydija would like to try diving out int he ocean but doesn't want to spring for a wetsuit until she's tried it. Does anyone coming along have a really thick warm suit that would fit a woman of about 5'3" and 110lbs that she could borrow for a half hour?

Re: BC Spearing Trip: Round Two!

I really really want to go but I highly doubt I can. I do happen to have a 5mm 2 piece high waist open cell with nylon on the outside free diving suit that was my wife's. She used it once and decided she is too claustrophobic for a suit. My wife is 5'6 and 135 so a bit too big for your wife, but it would be more length wise, she has an athletic build.

If you can figure out a way or know someone who is going through Oregon up that way I will let you borrow it and see if your wife likes it, I can even take a trip to Seattle and visit my in-law if you know someone there. Either way you are free to borrow it since my wife is not using it.

Re: BC Spearing Trip: Round Two!

James! It will be great to meet you in June I'm Brianna's husband. There will be a couple of us forming a definate convoy. You're welcome to join. Brianna and I are at an ideal stop-over location in Kamloops, and anyone is welcome to take advantage of this. The Vancouver ferries are about 4 hr from here, on an easy scenic drive along the coquihalla highway.

We've had new dive computers for a few weeks, if any one is interested in a bit of a review:

Re: BC Spearing Trip: Round Two!

Thanks to JPPLAY (Young Jim) for ordering/receiving my new gear: OMER Atoll float, new 100' line to replace the 60', and spare shaft for my T-20. Can't wait to get in the water end of May.
My bro-in-law Paul wants to come but feels he will hold us back which is wrong. He is a champion swimmer, I took him out spearing 1 day last year in a lake and he was just fine. I'm giving him my Picasso suit plus buying him a gun, so hopefully he will join us.

These moderators think they can get away with anything. Calling people by any name they want. Where can I lodge an official protest?

I should lodge a complaint against you too. Last time you didn't like my post you edited it. Where my freedom of speech? You better be careful Colin as soon I will be spending more time in the ocean then you. You will be my Grasshopper then.
