Hey everyone. Hope you're all getting the most out of spring thus far. In keeping with Amphibious's post, Iceselkie & I will likely mirror the travel plans of he and Jimdoe - arriving at basecamp evening, 23rd. Anyone actually booked a site yet?

Let's get that body count going! My flight arrives on the 23rd in Vancouver and I leave on the 28th from Port Hardy. I cannot stay the full time till the 30th because I need to be back in time to set up for "The Blue Wild" spearfishing expo.

I have not worked out the specifics, but I will be bring and give out some nice spearfishing and freediving goodies in BC by sponsoring daily contests and holding an event raffle the night before I leave.

James D, are you still in? This is 9 confirmed, ten if James D is still in. If anyone out there is planning on coming please say so. The boat capacity is 10 divers, 11 if we push it.

I think we should consider booking our camp sites. There will likely be lots of room, but if we book then the selection is better.

Is there anyone else that is leaving before the end of Friday, besides Jim? If so, maybe we should consider not having the rest day on Wednesday and having another boat diving day that day. We are essentially contracted for 4 boat diving days, the last being Friday (see boat details on page 14). If we need to re-arrange then I should let the Captain know as soon as possible.

I will most likely stay down as long as there are divers. it's a 13hr drive for me, EACH WAY. so I'm there to get in as much diving as possible

I'm teaching a class at the college and unfortunately final exam is set for June 25th. I think that makes me a no go...
