Spearing Panama/Costa Rica

I am traveling to Costa Rica (march 26-31) and Panama (march 31-apr 04) and want to bluewater freedive with my speargun and camera on the pacific coast of both countries.

1.) is anyone else going to be in either place at the same time that is looking for a dive partner? my itinerary is fairly open, im looking for intermediate or advanced dive partners interested in blue water hunting.

2.) does anyone have any recommendations on places or guides in either country. ive fished in southern california, mexico, south pacific, and europe but never in central america any advice would be useful.

I am right now in Costa Rica and plan to go spearfishing. So if i find good spots and buddys or anything of usefull help for you i wil post it

thanks that would be a huge help to me...i will let you know if i see anything beyond what has been posted here. i hear a lot about playa cocos and flamingo bay, seen a few sites for both, thats really it. good luck with the fishing and stay in touch!
