Central America Spearing Suggestions

Hello all, I am planning a trip in June and was wondering where would be best for spearing off the beach that time of year. Does anybody have any suggestions for June in Central America or the Carribean? Are the reefs close to the beach in costa rica? Also the rain is a factor. Just got back from eleuthra and it was awesome but i dont like useing slings. I still might go back there in June if its better than Central America. Any advice.....thanx
