I heard of this saddening news from Jon.
I'm still in disbelief. The world was a better place before they left. Alison ALWAYS made me smile. There is no better quality. http://forums.deeperblue.net/showthr...&page=2&pp=15\ Ted

To pay our respects to Alison and Colin the forums are going to go "quiet" for a period during Friday 11th November. During this time a tribute page will be online.
Ali and Colin - you will be missed! |

I still dont believe they have gone. its been 2 weeks since their funeral and I still wait a telephone call,I look in here every hour hoping to see a post from either of them making this whole nightmare a big mistake. I know its true and they have gone, its starting to sink in.
While the forums are offline, perhaps we should all give a few minutes thoughts to our own nearest and dearest and tell them how much we care, you just never know when something awfull will strike, and on that point, spare a thought for Stoneshot, Mr Ward's son who is very ill as I type, I truly pray that he pulls through |

We read alot about freedivers that pass away during competitions or during dives. I thing this is ten times worse. When you freedive, you know the risks but a traffic accident can happen to anyone.
Rest in peace |

Perhaps a lesson for us, if there is any, is to take those spearing trips (actual and metaphorical) while you can and not put them off. Tomorrow is promised to no one.

On behalf of both our families I would like to thank you all for your kind messages here, they have brought much support to us during an unpleasant time. I would also like to thank Stephen and Helen Williams for bringing this to our attention as well as their unending help and support.
I'm sorry it has taken so long for this reply, but I have tried many times to write it but I get to this point and find I still dont have any other words to express our thanks and today is no different apart from to also thank all of you who gave support to them both this last year, it really ment a lot to them. A happy and prosperous new year to you all T |
