Yer Torquay side of the bay. The swell was rolling up the beach.

Nice diving chaps!
Thanks for the video Scott - I'm too busy (and possibly too soft) to get in the water right now so it was good to sit at my desk and dream for a minute

Nice one Scott you can’t beat a bit of Scalloping except with maybe a few Lobsters but that’s about it.
![]() ![]() We’ve still got one or two up in Dorset but the fish are coming back so it’s time to leave them alone, well until next winter anyway. And well done Spearheads that’s a good haul there mate. |

If anyones planning a trip down to the bay Ive found another webcam so you can check the state of the sea before making the journey.
Its in the Brixham bistro on the breakwater. The camera works from 6:30am it also gives you the tide and wind direction which is always helpful. Brixham Breakwater Bistro |

Nice one Scott!
I've got a couple more weeks yet of work, kitchen refitting and waiting for the water to warm up and then I'm back in ![]()

I dived the Breakwater yesterday with my kayak to try and haul some adandoned crab pots up but got side tracked with those pesky scallops and even managed to grab a brown crab out of a hole.
I dived the breakwater with KILLIEN this morning which was cool, water temp was around 9c a blustery wind made it a bit rough at times but still managed 15 scallops. Killien if you want to hook up again sometime we can do the end of the breakwater for some pollack as soon as they come in. I was going to buy one these hooks the divers use to pull the crabs out of holes today but they seem a little over priced at around £15 so I reckon an old spear shaft will do the trick anyone have any other ideas for a homemade lobster hook? |

Hi scott,
Just took out the scallops from their shells. Got 15 too ;-). Took me an hour to get back, so def gonna come back...! I must admit, I had a lovely hot shower after I came back. Next time, I ll def put my two parts diving suit. Need to get new fins. Will prob come down next weekend if you're around. I'm gonna make a crab hook too. I'll keep you posted.
