Talking Plymouth Social

Hi all plymouth spearo's

To save all these PM's flying around i think we need to talk about the meet here, that way everyone will be on the same wavelength and I wont end up at the wrong pub on the wrong date

as far as i understand whats going on is a meet at the compton inn on friday 12th at 8pm

see you all soon

Pete

So i'll be driving, if anyone ain't too far away I can possibly give them a ride to the pub.

PM address if you want a lift.

Re: Plymouth Social

I reckon an Afternoon meetup would of been better, A few pints and a cracking pub lunch, If you guys ever plan another 1 in the afternoon I'd be up for coming down, maybe fit a shore dive in before.

I think the Dorest boys have a get together from time to time, great way to meet and put a face to the forum users.

Re: Plymouth Social

Weekend afternoons are spent on the rugby pitch or in the water molesting fish. In my experience its more often than not a waste of time trying to organise social events like this. If people are really that keen to meet up let them organise it.

a sand bar i love it. to hell with a meetup then, you both right, a dive is better than been in the pub anyday.

dive safe

as for the rugby, I just feel sorry for the brits when they get stuffed by the south africans

Re: Plymouth Social

Not into rugby just molesting fish every day of the week, weather and health permitting. No need to go pub just open your mouth when you want a drink.Im sat typing this knackered and deaf as a post been looking for that sand bar all day only found kelp beds and reefs which were all empty except for a few.Try again tomorrow.

Re: Plymouth Social

Hi All,

Anyone still up for a meet or has the idea died a death?? North1 and I would like to come down and hopefully dive in the Plymouth waters then either on to a pub for food or just home. Weekends best due to work.

Tribs.

Re: Plymouth Social

Hey a little get together, maybe even a friendly comp thrown in for good measure
Could have a carpark meetup a few hours (or more) in the water and a bit of banter at the end..... Count me in, sounds like great fun
