help with wing kit

anybody know the proper size to make a wing kit to align bands on my homade guns? what about proper placement in relation to band holes? height? i know nothing about this.

There isn't a proper size, anything will do. The important thing is that you make them so that when they are in place the centre line of the band at rest is no higher than the centre line of the shaft. Preferably keep that a couple of mm below the centre line of the shaft so that the bands keep a little downward force on the shaft when contracting.
