No drilling thank goodness...sounds serious! Good luck with the op mate, you should be back in the water just at the right time!
I had no surgery at all. Apparently I had an ear bend (damage to the inner ear on the left side). It caused major disorientation as I couldn't even stand up when it happened and I was yakking violently! It has repaired itself over time luckily but it meant that I had to stay out of the water for a lot of last season. Incidently i'm reading a book given to me by Will written by Umberto Pelizzari. I'm certainly learning a lot to try and ensure it doesn't happen again! Well worth a read if you haven't read it already.

Podger you're a bugger!
red hot poker indeed two-gun tex! Ben, that was lucky for you...the thought makes me cringe...will have a look at some Umberto scribings, as Glowworm knows....I am more than keen to sort it out as I often would be man down with pain and squeels which would even sometimes effect me when flying.

Dog not going to training yet as the mad thing broke a toe running around the garden like a nutter..

There you go its learnt its first lesson, if you run around the garden like a nutter it makes your foot hurt. Hope it’s not to bad and the vet didn’t bend you over the barrel to deep. |

Visited the coast for some fresh air at the weekend. Took the rods & just went for a walk around. Visited Studland, which was surprisingly calm but the water was murkey. It was warmer & sunnier than inland. The beach was surprisingly busy this far out of season (the tide was in, so the beach was small).
Also swung down to Durlston Head & Tilly Whim. Tilly Whim was rough & quite busy. Breaking waves were splashing up near the top of the bottom tier (maybe 30'). |

Picked up my wetsuit long johns from the nice people @ O'Three today.I asked them to put a knife pocket on the right thigh, shorten the shoulder straps and add some neoprene to the soles of my booties. What a job they did if only they made apena suits as well. The knife pocket was inspired by Rowan(2 mentions in as many posts for the lad) and it was nice to see Buster Lung also.
And an update on the new dog he got bitten by a jack russell two weeks ago and needed 5 stiches so he is still grounded ![]()

Looks like they did a nice job on the suit and boots, at least now you'll only have to replace knives after each dive rather than knife and holder! I'm going to give my kit the once over next weekend and see what the damage is going to be before the season really kicks off...
