Re: Dorset Spearing 2008

Blurgh.. Saltfree doo was a blast and had a few people egging me on so it became very messy.. Its really started going down hills when we began playing an electrocution game with our mouths, and then the pub crawl and then the club.. And so on.

Ikea was fine, expensive but fine, but Bristol could happily burn as far as i'm concerned!

Hope the bairn get better Brett.

Re: Dorset Spearing 2008

So I suppose its all sunshine with a warm almost tropical breeze blowing gently across Portland Harbour, as the seagulls feast on the abundant baitfish and the Bass wallow around like overfed hogs in just 2 meters of warm water with a blue hazy sun filled sky above?

Or is it still pissing down and blowing a gale with no chance of ANY vis for Sunday?

Re: Dorset Spearing 2008

I’ve been out a fare few Sundays in a row but I’ll see what I can do.
It’s all down to the Gods and Mrs. Rogers, let you know before the weekend.

Re: Dorset Spearing 2008

even the harbour looks like mud! I might be able to get in on Saturday, but only if the viz clears to a massive 4ft, just enough to see NO scallops in the harbour

Re: Dorset Spearing 2008

Please keep me in the loop if any of you mad fools decide to get wet - conditions look even worse today, but tomorrow the winds are dropping to a breezy hurricane force and a more rain as well - AAARRRRGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Re: Dorset Spearing 2008

Right on gents it’s cost me big but I’ll be down on Sunday if you’re interested?
Sorry Clive can’t make it on Saturday, as I have to work.
Bryn, John what time and where to?
Low water is around 9.50ish and I’m not sure which way the wind has been blowing down there so I’ll leave the entry point to you guys.
See you Sunday
